| Oh boy is disclosure fun.....
How do you save an immediate $400-1000 on your field insurance? Call up your current so called "association" and tell them you want your loss runs for the last 3 years. This will cause stress and havoc with their whole office and they will probably start stuttering. You will hear words like you have a discount coming this year. Tell them you are getting a much lower quote with the new program with Cossio. Your price will lower immediately!!!! You will notice that they are renewing your accidental medical policies at the same $50,000 limit that we offer in order to attempt to save some accounts. Check this pricing out!
These rates include both general liability and accident medical coverages. Seeing your insurance savings could cause loss of breath, high blood pressure, headache, dizziness, rash, and some loss of sexual activity due to upset stomach. Please call your health care professional immediately and then call us.

Ok, renewal time is coming close for your paintball field insurance and look what the competition is up to. You probably have received an email offering "discounts for no claims" on your upcoming renewal quote. Hmmmm...
I have a challenge for them. Ask them to give you the actual comparison breakdown of costs of your insurance last year and this year for your general liability and your accident medical policies. You should, if they follow the disclosure laws, receive a breakdown with premium, administration fees, and association dues for each policy. Now compare that to your renewal quote that you are being charged by these associations. I would bet that you will see a decrease in fees, if not a complete waiver of these so called "association fees" in order to compete with our pricing.
Now it would be good that since competition is finally here, that they would wake up and provide you a discount for no claims. Why didn't they provide that so called discount for the last 5 years?
We have had several fields ask for their loss runs, (a report stating that you have or have not had any losses) in December and have not received them yet. Of course they will delay but it is against insurance code to not provide your insurance history, especially if it keeps you from securing insurance in the future. I would recommend that you request your loss runs immediately as you should have a copy of your loss history in your records as good business practices.
Some of the fields that have called our office has asked who I am and are concerned over someone new coming into the paintball industry. I am not new, just not as active in the last 4 years. I provided a competitive program back in 1996 and caused the competitions "association dues and application fees" to be lowered by several hundred dollars. The cost of our insurance program lowered field owner's costs by over 60%!!!! I have been a licensed insurance agent since 1979 and providing insurance to specialty groups since 1984. We only work with A rated carriers. We have insured all of the major fields and most of the smaller fields, most of the tournament series and major events since we started working in the paintball industry.
I have been active in the ASTM since 1997 assisting in developing netting testing standards, barrel blocking device standards, and one of the only insurance agents to actually enforce full face and ear protection standard at fields and tournaments. Ask around and you will find that I have a very ethical background and can not be bought. I invented the barrel condom and my patent is still a great topic of discussion. I helped develop the first paintball netting to actually stop a paintball. I was also the first to bring the pillow pack to the industry.
I have insured Paul Fogal and Skirmish, Dennis Bukowski and SC Village, Dean Del Pratte and Cousin's, Wayne Dollack at Wayne's World, Russ Maynard and Camp Pendleton, Mike Peverill and Pev's, Rennick Miller and Badlands, Dan Bonebrake and Warpaint International, Dewayne Convirs and Oklahoma D-Day, all NPPL events, World Cup, Great Western Series, Jim Lively (old school) and a few hundred others.
